No trip to Paris would be complete without exploring the Louvre Museum. While the hours spent exploring and admiring the world’s greatest art could be awe-inspiring, it could also leave you exhausted and famished. What you’d need is a scrumptious meal from Angelina.

While you can enjoy equally delicious fare at their The Café Richelieu-Angelina outlet inside the Louvre, the nearby Angelina Tearoom might be able to offer a far superior experience. The tearoom is a pleasant, 8-minute stroll down Rue de Rivoli and the destination would prove to be worth the extra distance.

The Angelina Tea House has mouthwatering offerings for every course. For a post-Louvre meal, you’d love their club sandwiches that come with either matchstick potatoes or perfectly-cooked lettuce hearts. The Scandinave Club Sandwich is a popular choice. It contains smoked salmon, hard-boiled egg, and fresh goat cheese. If you prefer chicken, go for the Angelina Club Sandwich instead. That contains chicken fillet, smoked bacon, hard-boiled egg, and tomato.

Once you’ve satisfied your hunger, it’s time for dessert which, in this case, would actually prove to be the most important course. Dessert is what the Angelina Tearoom is best known for and it’s easy to understand why. The pleasure from tasting their signature Mont-Blanc pastry is indescribable. Add to that a serving of their legendary African Hot Chocolate which could easily become the highlight of your entire Paris visit. There’s definitely a reason why both locals and tourists have been flocking to the Angelina Tearoom for over a century.
